Formspringa (Round Dos)

Another round of FormSpring madness!- these are getting hilarious!

How old are you?  And what is your major?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Sorry - that was great. Not laughing at you, just the innocence of the question. Honey, I haven’t been in college for 4+ years! That said, my two majors were Gender Studies and Antropology (with a minor in spanish).

Charlie asks…
Can you give me a job?

Oh, Chuckles! You don’t need me for that - remember, you live adjacent to one of the biggest employers in your area: the San Fernando Valley Porn Industry! Get on it, so to speak!

Why is it so important to have gay marriages.  Why not civil unions?

Ah ha!  A serious question. My answer would be this: I think everyone should have civil unions, not marriages. Now, seeing as that isn’t going to happen, I think gay people should, like the their straight brothers and sisters, have the option available to them because everyone should be on equal ground. It’s about equality more to me than about marriage itself. I explained it to my father like this, “People would have probably asked Rosa Parks if she would settle sitting a few seats further up from the back of the bus [but still behind all the white people]. It’s not about the position of your seat, it’s about everyone having the same access to all seats.” Do you understand my analogy? Would you settle for “less than” just because people thought you were different? I would hope not.
