Please promise me you will never see this, ok! I’m serious! I don’t know many of you, but that doesn’t mean I don’t care for your well-being. Please head my advice: save your money and your sanity and for the love of GOD, do not go see this.
We left at intermission. It being a musical and all, I was surprised that there was not a sung musical note (and not for lack of trying). It was the laziest, sub-high school production I’d ever seen. I won’t even waste more text telling you how awful it was - it is literally not worth the 1s and 0s.
Someone should start a V-for-Vendetta style campaign against Roundabout Theatre. They must be stopped!

So my adorable pup, Puck (pictured above) has been watching a lot of television lately. Last night Barbara and I were watching America’s Next Top Model with him on the couch. We got up to go make dinner, leaving the dog with the paused TV (the image was frozen on the girls’ underwater challenge).
Two minutes after we walk into the kitchen, Puck starts barking and going APE SHIT. Background: he’s usually pretty quiet, and rarely barks. So we walk into the living room and he is sitting under the television, looking straight up at one of the models frozen in time and in water, howling at her.
I think he either really hates ANTM, or is just a really good judge of submarine smizing.
Anyway, fast forward to this afternoon when I receive this email from the boyf:
“today as I finished ANTM, the tv turned on THE STUPIDS and Puck started having a fit…this begs the question: does puck have great taste (GET TOM ARNOLD OFF THE TV) or does he genuinely get disappointed when Top Model ends?”

Um, amazing. Also, the actual page is useful. I keep battling with the previous generation here at work on the uselessness of using an apostrophe for things like “Company’s Picnic” (GARRRR PEOPLE! Just make the noun an assumptive adjective and go with “Company Picnic” or “Parents’ Dinner” just write “Parents Dinner” - everyone knows it’s for the parents! You don’t don’t need to cloud things by making people think they own the dinner). CONSTANT BATTLE

I would find great pleasure in enlarging this to poster size and hanging it above my couch. It’s such a hateful message, but also so over the top that it becomes camp (especially situated in our living room), and we all know camp is our special purview. (Ask Sontag). The hateful sentiment would be subverted by humor, neutering the homophobia while at the same time highlighting the sheer ludicrousness of these hateful signs.
