Too much comedy!
My boyfriend also just called and asked suspiciously “Do you follow inthebutt.tumblr?”
“Bwahahaha…not yet! Why?”
“Well, I know you follow the gay ones, so I was just checking”
(I think he thinks that Tumblr is like, 20 of us bored office workers, all in New York)
Bwhahaha
My boss just walked in on my taking my “Smile Friday” picture. She was very confused. [Photo coming soon]
Crack Pie →
fareastmeetswildwest:
Oh shit, Christina Tosi, pastry chef at Momofuku Milk Bar, shared her recipe for Crack Pie with Martha Stewart.
One of the major advantages to having unemployed relatives is they watch daytime TV and pick up on gems like this.
Let me tell you, Crack Pie is incredibly addictive. Like crack.
I second that. This stuff is so good it’s almost dangerous!
Easy Sticky Buns
fareastmeetswildwest:
This was my aunt’s last great find from the morning shows - Ina Garten’s easy sticky buns. They’re made in a muffin tin, so every piece crisps up around the edges and no one is left with the soggy middle bun. Here’s the recipe, reproduced from here because I make no changes to it, it’s that good. Also, I love that Ina Garten uses “OMG” below. Ina, call me. I will work for you...
Warning
Searching “SNPD” on Tumblr yields mind-boggling results, nudity being the least weird. I see William Shatner, a dwarf, someone’s scalp and more weirdness.

The Trouble with Literally →

Kind of a great repudiation of the “right” vs “wrong” useage of words so oft enforced by the menacing and ever-watchful Grammar Police. Words are so complex and their meanings so fluid that insisting on one correct sense for a word or phrase sometimes does the language injustice. The following from the article is a...

The Scorpio Friend
As a rule, Scorpios have few friends but are close to them. Scorpio men and women are loners who look to themselves to solve problems. It is often said that a Scorpio wants to know everyone’s secrets but never willingly divulges his own. Scorpio natives have great...
Blue-eyed humans have a single, common ancestor →
homecoming:
New research shows that people with blue eyes have a single, common ancestor. A team at the University of Copenhagen have tracked down a genetic mutation which took place 6-10,000 years ago and is the cause of the eye colour of all blue-eyed humans alive on the planet today.
What's for dinner?
Kristin and I were discussing some dinner options that would complement today’s less than savory weather. Based on what I have in the kitchen, I think I’m going with a chorizo red bean chili with poblanos and home made bread to sop it up.
